In 1946, Enrico Cappellini founded the brand in Italy, and was brought to the international market by his son Guiolio Cappellini in 1977. Cappellini has since then introduced diverse brand-new concepts and promoted a cultural dialogue in the name of design freedom as told by designers Shiro Kuramata, Jasper Morrison, Marc Newson, and many more.
