Our family's farm up in rural NW Texas was a major influence growing up and taught me a love for animals and an appreciation for where our food comes from. With a background in education, a love for healthy eating, and joy for working with children, Whole Kids Foundation is my passion!
My time with Whole Foods Market has taught me a few simple guidelines for healthy living: eat a rainbow, eat greens first, and eat as close to nature as possible. I want to share all of that with the next generation and help children get a whole lot healthier! I also have an extensive corporate background, including several years with Whole Foods Market and Deloitte Consulting, in a variety of roles that involved strategic and financial planning, project management, and operational improvement. My experience in the nonprofit world includes working as a volunteer for several charitable organizations and serving on the board of Texas Pie Kitchen.
