The Gary Magness Family foundation is dedicated to advancing inventive and effective ways of enabling those in need to help themselves through various community outreach programs and other philanthropic endeavors.
Co-founder, Sarah Siegel Magness, was traveling with her daughter and experienced a salad bar a New Haven, Connecticut Public School. The fresh variety of vegetables and fruits offered to the students made a lasting impression.
The Foundation became a major contributor to Whole Kids Foundation by funding salad bar equipment for 400 schools from Anchorage, AK to Douglas County, CO to Clarksville, TN. Teaching children the value of fresh fruits and vegetables aligns with the Magness' passion for improving access to good food for families nationwide.
